Our church is blessed with a very active and compassionate Care Team, serving the Body of Christ in need. Our focus involves hospital visitation, meals distribution, extended care center ministry, and bereavement assistance. Meetings are held bi-monthly and training is available. Volunteers are always welcome – a caring heart is the only skills requirement.
Serve
In Matthew 20:27-28 Jesus said,
“…whoever wants to be a leader among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others…” Serving others gives purpose to your life and puts joy in your heart.
Serving at CUMI is a great way to grow in your relationship with God, show God’s love to others, and to demonstrate the attitude that Jesus modeled when he walked on earth.
God created each of us with specific talents and gifts to use in impacting others. Our goal is to provide a place for you to invest yourself in serving in the church. Get involved in serving this week.
