BIBLE READING: Matthew 8:5
Matthew 8:5 says “ Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him.”
The Lord will supply all your needs. Philippians 4:19 says “ And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Psalm 34:10 says “ The young lions lack and suffer hunger: But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” There are things you need; the things you pray for; the things you long for but there is an immediate need which is the voice of God or word of God. You just need the voice of God in your life. If a doctor says to you that you will not have a child, he does not have the final say. Even solicitors in courts does not have the final say. Jesus have the final say. The centurion told Jesus t o say just a word. You need a word from God and that is a word of solution. The children of Israel left Egypt and got to a dead end but Moses gave them a word. Exodus 14: 11-12 says “ Then they said to Moses, because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” And Moses said to them, do not be afraid, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” The Lord will fight for you. Every Egyptian or stubborn pursuer, you shall see them no more. What is the solution ? Isaiah 30:7 says “ For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore , I have called her Rahab- Hem- Shebeth.” People do not hear the word and that is why they go astray. If your blessing is in the east, and you go to the west because you did not hear the word of God, then you go further away from your destiny. You have to cry to God that you need a word from Him. Exodus 15:22-24 says “ So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, then they went out into the wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses saying, What shall we drink?” Israel could not drink River Marah. Moses gave them a word from God. He cast the tree into the river and it became sweet. Exodus 5:1 says “ After ward Moses and Aaron went in and told pharaoh, Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘ Let My people go that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.” Moses says “ Let My people go”. I speak deliverance into your life in Jesus name. Amen. You do not need advice, you need the word of God. Psalm 29:4 says “ The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.” The voice of the Lord is powerful. When the word is released, power is released. Jesus is the power of God. You should cry to Jesus and not to any authority. During depression, distraction, confusion and going forward; u need the word of God. You do not have to be crying, weary or devastated because the word of God can never fail. Father Lord, speak your word to your people today. Some Christians are rejected, dejected, crying, swallowed, demoralized and saying where is God? God is wonderful, glorious and powerful. Jesus is our Father and the word of God. You will know If the Lord speak s to your circumstances or situation. The solution to your problem is the word of God. Receive the word of God. Joshua 6: 1-3 says “ Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho into your hand, its king and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.” Jericho was shut off; the city was fortified; the thickness of the gate was strong; no bulldozer could bring down the wall but God gave Joshua the word. Go around the city seven times on the seventh day. Psalm 56:3 says “ Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you.” You have to trust in God. You need only one thing to solve your problem- the word of God and not money or some distraction of so many things. Mary , the mother of Jesus chose the word of God. Jesus is the word of God- your life. Receive the word of God.
