12/11/12 REVIVAL: MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE

DAY
2: THE COMPASSION OF THE MASTER

John 8:1-12: The master of the universe is the God that
is full of compassion; He is merciful.

Psalm 86:15…..But you, O Lord are a God full of
compassion, and gracious, long suffering and abundant in mercy and truth. Psalm 86:5…For
you, Lord are good, and ready to forgive…makes us understand that God is
gracious and merciful; Jesus is a merciful God. Psalm 136:1….Oh give thanks to
the Lord, for He is good! For His mercies endures forever. The compassion of
God; the mercy of God has sustained you and I till this hour. Lamentation 3:22…Through
God’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. Through God’s
mercy we are not consumed; if not for God’s mercies we would have been consumed
by now. God is full of compassion and I want you to understand that today.

God is merciful and gracious. Exodus 33:19….I will
be gracious to whom I will be gracious and I will have compassion on whom I will
have compassion. So He is God of compassion. Malachi 3:6….For I am the Lord, I do
not change; therefore you are not consumed, you sons of Jacob. It is because God
does not change; His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting, His mercy is
forever; God is a merciful God; and He does not change. Whatever He says He
will do. The story we just read is a about a woman; who was caught in adultery.
The question is that, it takes two to commit adultery; so the woman was caught,
where was the man? The bible made us understand that they brought the woman to
Jesus Christ because they were looking to what they can hold onto Him to accuse
Him. They took the woman from the brothel and took her to Jesus and said “this
woman committed adultery; in the Law of Moses, such a person should be stoned,
but what does your own law say.”

Jesus Christ did not come to this world to destroy, but
He has come in other to give us salvation; to deliver us. The son of God was
not to destroy but to save us. When they brought this woman to Him; Jesus
Christ was writing on the ground but what He was writing nobody knew. To me the
interpretation was that He was writing the sin of each person. He was looking
at those who accused the woman, because He is God, He knew what was in
everybody’s heart and He was writing what everybody is doing. He neglected
them, they kept asking “master what is your own decision; what is your own
judgment; what does your own law say?” Jesus lifted himself up and said “anyone
among you that’s never sinned; let him first throw a stone” Now they began to
look at themselves and started going one by one- which made me understand that
all the accusers of your life will go one by one tonight in the name of Jesus….
One by one God will destabilize every one of them in the name of Jesus Christ…..

After they left, Jesus Christ looked unto that woman;
and Jesus said to her “where are the accusers of yours; she said they have
gone.” He said “nobody condemned you” the woman said “no and He replied neither
do I condemn you but go and sin on more.” Tonight, the time of ignorance the
Lord has overlooked but the truth tonight is that God wants to do extraordinary
miracle in everybody’s life but He wants us to get ourselves out of the things
the devil will hold unto. I can tell you so many things that can delay prayer. The
greatest thing that can make our prayer to be delayed, hindered or not to
happen at all is sin. Tonight we need to off load whatever we have done wrong;
whatever the devil has made us to do; whatever we have done by ourselves;
whatever the people of this world has
made us to commit. The Lord has never condemned anybody but He wants us
to change. We are going up to a higher ground; we are going up to a holy place.

The bible had made us to understand in Psalm 24:3-4…who
may ascend into the hill of the Lord; who may stand in your holy place? He who
has clean hands and a pure heart…..Our hands have to be clean; our hearts have
to be pure tonight. Whatever is bothering you cast it upon Jesus. I Peter 5:7….Casting
all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. Whatever is disturbing us
we   need to cast it upon Jesus Christ;
we need to come to Jesus Christ with clean hands. Everything that has occupied
our hearts; everything the devil has used to occupy our hearts we have to get
it away. We cannot do 7 days vigil without getting the result; you cannot just
be coming just because you want to.  In
my ministries I do not want bench warmers; I do not need people to come because
I need a crowd; I do not want people to come because I need money from them; I do
not want people to come because I want them to be around me; I want people to
come because they are ready to do the will of God. The heaven and the earth is
of the Lord; the Lord owns everything and He is ready to transfer His blessings
upon you but He wants you to do His will.

The bible says in 1 John 2:17….The world is passing
away and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. God wants
you to abide in his power; He wants you to abide in His word; but He is saying
to you whatever is holding you back; release it. Today we have to release it;
Jesus Christ said “I am not going to condemn you, but go and sin no more” The
things that we  have done before we got
here tonight, God said “He has overlooked it; God said He has forgotten it.” But
He said “go and sin more.” The paralyzed man that was delivered by the pool of
Bethesda John 5:14….Jesus saw him and said “see you have been made well go sin
no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” We have gone through a lot of storm
in our life but not everything we have gone through was from enemies; there are
some we did  by our own self; by our own
hand; when we want something to be done at all cost to satisfy our hear desire;
not what God says or wants. That is why things are not working or moving;
because we do not do the will of God. Today you have to do His will.

Jesus said “am not condemning you; I know truly you
did it, but those who accuse you they have done worse than what you did.” Some of
you they have accused you; those who are accusing you; they have done worse
than what you did. But the Lord said to that woman; with the compassion of the
Lord “go and sin no more” When He said go it means that you are set free but
you must not sin again. 1 John 1:8-9….If we say we do not sin, we deceive ourselves
and the truth is not in us. if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive…….Whatsoever you are doing wrong God wants you to drop it, He wants to
visit your life; He wants to deliver you; He wants to move you to the next
level; He wants to answer your cry. When our heart is clean, before you cry to
God, He has already answered you.

Proverb 16:7…..When a man’s ways pleases the Lord,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. One of the reasons why God
forgave David was because he knew he had sinned against God. Psalm 51:3…I acknowledge
my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Some people do not acknowledge
it; some will say I am not a sinner. The bibles made us understand that for all
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God….Roman 3:23. Roman 6:23…For the
wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord. What have we done wrong; everything we have done wrong drop it. If you
are a backbiter drop it today; if you are hater of God or the children of God,
drop it today; if you do not like progress of others, you are full of jealousy
and envy, drop it today; so that God can come and bless you; praise the name of
the Lord…..

Many at times when we complain God is just laughing
at us. Why is He laughing? because we know the right thing to do but we do not
do it? We hate our members; we hate our brothers; even those that we say we are
brethren in the Lord. God will not say something and do something different; He
is an omnipotent God, and a reliable God. He is a faithful God, what He says He
will do, that is what He will do. What He promises to do that is what He will
do. But am saying this to you if there is anything in our life that will make
us to get out of the glory of God; to make us to loose this blessing let us
drop it

Psalm 66:18…If I regard iniquity in my heart, the
Lord will not hear. If we know that if we put it in our heart He will not hear;
why can we not drop it? Every bitterness; anger, jealousy, anything of backbiting,
sin, taking another person’s wife or husband, lets drop it.  We drop it at the throne of God; we say we
will not do it again; we drop it. There is no reason why we have to cleanse ourselves
if God blesses the sinner to be better than the righteous. Some people think
sinners are better than us they are not better than us. Those we think they
have money; they have money but they do not have peace; he who has peace has
everything. Because the peace of God that surpasses all understanding; that is
what we are carrying and that is what is in us; the peace of God.

If people gathered against you, you do not need to
gather against them, bring their case before God. When God handles your enemies
by Himself, you will be one to kneel down again and say “it is just too much.” It
takes time before God starts, but when starts He does not stop.  If He starts the work of your life; He will
not stop until He destroys all your enemies; He will not stop until He annihilate
all your enemies; He will not stop until He terminates all your enemies. That is
what the Lord will do in the name of Jesus……

Two Sunday’s ago I had a preaching titled “what is
in your heart?” tonight as you are standing before the Lord; God told me He
wants to do extraordinary miracles in your life; God wants to do wonders; He
has started and He is going to do wonders. But if God is holy let us be holy;
if God is holy we must be holy. That is the reason why you will cry onto Him
and He will answer you. John 9: 31….We know that God does not hear sinners; but
if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. Whoever surrenders
his life to Jesus Christ; He hears him. Whoever cleanses his life from all
iniquities, He hears him.  Psalm 51:3-5….
For I have acknowledged my transgressions and my sins always before me. You only
you I have sinned against and done this evil….. God is ready to have mercy upon
us. Psalm 51:1….Have mercy upon me, according to your loving kindness;
according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Tonight
God will blot out our transgressions; the time of ignorance the Lord has
forgotten; but this time around we have come to the knowledge of truth.

Today I want everybody in the house, including
myself to agree with God say “Father we want to live our life for you; whatever
will make us to miss this grace; whatever will make us to be cast out of your
presence father cut it off.” Psalm 51:10-11…Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence…..
Every other thing can go, but as long as your presence is with me I know I will
recover everything that I have lost. As long as His presence is with you,
nothing that you lost, that will not be recovered. You will overcome all your
enemies; as long as His presence is with you, you will overcome all those
standing against you; as long as His presence is with you, you will get to your
destiny.

Blessed in the Lord
