THOUGHTS

JEREMIAH 29:11…..For I know the thoughts
that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give
you a future and a hope……

I want you to
know that God has good plans for us, and that is why you are in His presence
this morning. The bible says “I know the thoughts that I think towards you”;
says the Lord; and that is why I bring this message titled “divine thoughts.”  Proverbs 19:21….There are many plans
in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel –that will stand… It is only
the counsel of God that will stand in our life in the name of Jesus Christ. God
is a good thinker; He thinks about us; He thinks about everything that we are
doing. Everyone that is a child of God must know how to think. Genesis 1:1-3…..In
the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without
form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God
was hovering over the face of the waters. It means that God is thinking of what
He will do, because everything was formless. In verse 3 God said “let there be
light”; and there was light. Everything God created did not exist before he
created them. He created them when He said “let there be light”; and there was
light. When He created the moon, sun and the stars, He thought before He did
it. When God thinks, He thinks good things about you; and that is why He said “you
may be thinking anything, people may be thinking whatever they like concerning
you; but I know the thoughts that I think towards you.”

God knows
the thoughts; when the enemies want to destroy you; they are planning whatever
they like. But the Lord said “I know the thoughts that
I think towards you.” When you are crying, weeping, when you feel like
things are not going very well with you; God said “I
know the thoughts that I think towards you”; and there is no thought
that can go against the thought of God. It is only the thought of God that will
prevail over everything. When the Lord sent Moses to Pharaoh, Exodus 5:1-2…..Moses
told Pharaoh “thus says the Lord, God of Israel: let My people go that they may
serve me.” In verse 2 Pharaoh said, “who is the Lord that I should obey him? I
do not know the Lord nor will I let Israel go.” Moses went back to God; he was
so disturbed, so devastated, because he thought Pharaoh will release the
children of Israel immediately; but God knew that Pharaoh will not release them
immediately. Exodus 6:1-2….Then the Lord said to Moses, “now you shall see what
I will do to Pharaoh. For by My strong hand he will let them go and drive them
out of his land.” In verse 2, God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the
Lord.” God is a good thinker; He said “I know the thought that I think toward
you, divine thoughts.”

When people
say “you are going to be destroyed, God says “that is not my thought; I know
the thoughts that I think towards you.” When people say you are going to fail
this year, God says “that is not my thought because I know the thought that I
think towards you. When people say that you are going to be erased; God says:
‘no that is not My thought; I know the thought that I think towards you.’ When
people look down on you, and say “there is nothing good that can come from your
Nazareth; God says ‘that is not my thought for I know the thought that I think
towards you.’” When the medical report gives negative things concerning you,
and it seems that you are going to die, God says “no.” psalm 91:16……With long
life I will satisfy you, and show you My salvation. Job 5:26…..You shall come
to the grave at full age…… So that is the thought of God; it is different from
their thought. Isaiah 55:8-9…For your thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your
ways My ways… verse 9……As the heavens are higher than the earth, so my thoughts
are higher than your thoughts, and my ways higher than your ways. God’s thought
is different from enemies thoughts, is different from satanic thoughts. I know
the thoughts that I think towards you; and it is the thought of God that will
prevail, in the name of Jesus Christ…….

1 Samuel
16:13…Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him the midst of his brothers;
and the spirit of the Lord came upon David…… 2 Samuel 2:1,4,8-9…..It came to
past afterward that David inquired of the Lord, saying, “shall I go to any of
the cities of Judah?” God said “Go up this is the time for you to reign”. David
said, “Where shall I go?” God said “to Hebron.” In verse 4…..The elders of
Judah came and they anointed David as king over Judah….. Verse 8…..Abner the
commander of Saul’s army took Ishbosheth and made him king over Gilead….. Somebody
that is anointed is different from somebody that is just made. Ishbosheth was
made; David was anointed; anointing makes the difference, and that is the
reason David was able to stay but Ishbosheth disappeared; because his kingdom
was a tearing kingdom, a temporary kingdom because the anointing of God was not
upon him. Somebody that is anointed is different from somebody that is canal.
Natural man does not understand the things of the spirit of God. God said “I
know the thought that I think towards you”; while Abner install ishbosheth’ God
said “you are my king.” Ishbosheth is the king of Abner; and both of them died
the same day.

2 Samuel
3:1….There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But
the house of David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew
weaker and weaker. David grew stronger because of the anointing of the Holy
Spirit was upon him. God said “I know the thought that I think towards you, it
is the thought of good, not of evil. To give you a future, to give you hope.” I
don’t know the thought of death for you; not the thought of crashing, not the
thought of disaster, not the thought of destruction; not the thought of
failure; not the thought of stagnation; not the thought of backwardness; not
the thought of poverty. But the thought of good, thought of peace; not for you
to be crying, mourning, down casted, not for you to be destroyed but the
thought of joy that is what the Lord has for you. Can I hear amen from
somebody? Amen……People want you to be sad, but God wants you to be happy. Some
people are raised up in sadness, they have never tasted joy in their life; and
they want every other person to be sad. But you will never be sad in the name
of Jesus……

Christianity
is a way of life; whenever you are making people happy that is when your God is
happy with you. When you are making people sad; it is like you are putting coal
of fire upon yourself. I cannot understand the kind of joy that you have, and
others around you do not have it. You are rejoicing but others around you are
not rejoicing; you are happy, others around you are not happy; and you say that
“I am a Christian; I am fulfilling purpose”. You are not fulfilling any purpose;
you are destroying God’s purpose. It is when you make people happy; you can
make yourself sad to make other people happy then the Lord God Almighty will
now make you happy. Anyone around you must be happy, that shall be your first
assignment in life if you want to follow Jesus. Everyone that came to Jesus was
happy. The bible said “in the evening they brought all those who have
paralysis, they brought them to Jesus Christ; everyone that is sick they
brought them to Jesus Christ; and all went home with joy.” Acts 8:5-8…….Philips
went to Samaria and preached Christ to them. And they brought all those who
were sick before and He healed every one of them. Verse 8 said “there was a
great joy in that city.” The city was full of sadness, sorrow, and full of
mourning. In verse 9 there was a man called Simon the sorcery that made them sad;
but Philip went there, he took away their sorrow, and pain. He gave them Jesus
Christ; he made them happy; you will be happy today in the name of Jesus…….

What kind of
ministry do you have when people around you are sad and crying? It is when
people around you are happy that is when you are fulfilling purpose. You are
fulfilling purpose because others around you can rejoice and be happy. If you
are a professional in making people sad, you cannot bring that in to the church
of God. You must make people happy, people around you, in your household, in
the church of God; in your work place, and people in the community, let them
see Christ in you. God said “I know the thought that I
think towards you, the thought of good ….” God is making us happy, and you
must make others happy, because God is good. Like begets like; we have to
practice Christianity; let me tell you this fact. That somebody did not greet
you in the church does not mean that the person meant evil against you. There
is a lot of pressure, that people are carrying every day; some people by the
time they enter the church, probably they do not even know they are in the
church. You may greet the person but his/her thought is somewhere else; go to
the person again and say “I greeted you earlier, is there any problem?” the
person may say sorry “I did not even know.” But you will say because I greeted
her and she did not greet me back, therefore I do not think I will greet
him/her again. That is not Christianity; Christianity is a way of life; when you
can live your life for Christ that is when you are a Christian.

Galatians
2:20…..I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I that live, but
Christ lives in me; and the life that I live, I live in faith in Christ Jesus
the son of God; who gave His life for me…..You do not live your life for
yourself anymore, you live your life for Christ; and Christ reigns in you; and
if Christ reigns in you; joy of the Lord must reign in you; and if the joy of
the Lord is reigning in you; everyone around you must have joy. Do not let us
go against the truth; there is nothing you can do against the truth. 2
Corinthians 13:8… For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth…..
There is nothing you can do against the truth, no counsel, understanding or wisdom
can fashion against the truth; it is the truth that will prevail. The truth is
that, you must make everyone around happy. There is no way husband and wife
will sleep at night without settling the misunderstanding between them.  1 Corinthians 14:33…..God is not an author of
confusion……. At times we pray and say God does not answer our prayer; why does
he not answer? It is because we do not keep ourselves very well. Psalm
24:3-4….Who may ascend into the hill of God? And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an
idol, nor sworn deceitfully. God answers prayers; Isaiah 59:1-2……Behold the
Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy that it
cannot hear. But our iniquities have separated us from our God. I know God
answers prayer; Psalm 65:2….O you who hear prayer, to you all flesh will come.
Psalm 62:11….God has spoken once; twice I have heard this: That power belongs
to God. He hears prayer.

The children
of Israel did not know that Balaam and Balak were against them; why? God has
been fighting for them. Numbers 22:12….And God said to Balaam, “you shall not
go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.” God is
fighting a great battle for us; Isaiah 62:1…For Zion’s sake I will not hold My
peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes
forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. God is fighting a
great battle for us; praise the name of the Lord…..

There are
three thoughts that are supposed to be in our hearts, if we want to think the
way God thinks:

1.
You
must think about your creator: Divine thought; you must think about your
creator in your heart. Ecclesiastes 12:1…..Remember now your creator in the
days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near
when you say, “I have no more pleasure…..”We really need to understand that our
first thought must be about God. If you do not know how to think, you will not
know how to thank. It is when we think about God, that we know how to
appreciate God; and it is when we appreciate God that the blessings of God come
upon us. Psalm 67:5-6….Let the people praise You O God; let all the peoples
praise You; then the earth shall yield her increase; and the Lord our God
will  bless us…. It means that when we do
not praise Him there will be no blessing; but how can we praise Him? We cannot
praise Him until we begin to think about Him; you need to think about the
goodness of GOD. The purpose of us been in church is because of heaven, it is
not because of flesh things. Romans 8:6….To be carnally minded is death, but to
be spiritually minded is life and peace. Remember your creator, remember God so
that you can know how to give thanks to Him. That you are alive is enough for
you to know that God is thinking good things about you. God said “I know the
thought that I think towards you, thought of peace, thought to give you long
life; thought of joy, thought of blessings.” It is not that the devil will not
attack you; but the Lord has solution to every problem; can I hear Amen from
somebody….Amen…..

There are some people that the devil has given itching ears; they will
hear from the left ear and it will fly away from the right ear. I cannot
understand how someone will be under this anointing and still keep malice,
fight people, and not keep the ordinance of God. If the word of God cannot
change us; there is nothing that can change us. When you come to Jesus you have
to surrender totally.  150 years you are going to spend on earth, do not let it destroy eternal
life. I better suffer now so that I can enjoy forever; there is nothing you can
compare with heaven. Psalm 8:3-4…..When I consider your heavens, the work of
your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that
you are mindful of him…….There is no reason why God has to be visiting us;
because I do not think there is anything we are doing for God. Without us doing
anything God is ready to do everything. When God open the mouth of the donkey
of Balaam to speak, God can use anybody. Jesus said “if you tell all this
people to shut up their mouth, the Lord will raise the stones and they will be
praising God.” But our prayer is that; God will not replace us with stones; in
the name of Jesus Christ……. We need to think about our creator, and that is why I say that “if you
know how to think you will know how to thank God.” Instead of you complaining
about God; why can’t you thank Him for one day? Psalm 116:12….What shall I
render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? We have to think about our
maker; and the good things that He is doing for us. Psalm 103:1-5…Bless the
Lord; O my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name! Bless the Lord,
O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. He who forgives you of your sins,
who heals you of your diseases, you delivers you from destruction; who crowns
your head with loving-kindness and tender mercies; who satisfy your mouth with
good things…..We need to praise the name of the Lord.

Psalm 34:1…I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall
continually be in my mouth. Psalm 8:1&9….O Lord our Lord, How excellent is
your name in all the earth…… Psalm 9:1….I will praise you, O Lord, with my
whole heart; I will tell of all your marvelous works, I will be glad and
rejoice in you…. It is the time for us to know how to praise the Lord. The Lord
is so good to us; Psalm 30:1….I will extol you, O Lord, for you have lifted me
up and have not let my enemies rejoice over me. Your enemies will not rejoice
over you; when you know how to think, you will know how to thank. Many are
dying, many are perishing, some people just died now, but you are alive; that
is enough for you to praise the Lord. Psalm 107:1, Psalm 136:1; Psalm 118:1.…
Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good! For His mercy endures forever…. We
need to think about our creator, so that we will know how to thank Him. Psalm
107:8, 15, 21, &31…..Oh that men would give thanks to the Lord for His
goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Verse 16….He has
broken the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of iron in two. This is God
speaking to you; that you have to praise Him. Psalm 111:1, Psalm 112:1, Psalm
113:1…Praise the Lord!….. Psalm 115:1….Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but
to your name we give glory…. We need to give glory unto the Lord. Psalm
117:1….Praise the Lord….. This is the time to praise Him. Psalm 146:1&10,
Psalm 147:1&20, Psalm 148:1&14, Psalm 149:1&9, Psalm 150:1 ….
Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6…..Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Because you have breath, you need to praise the Lord. Psalm 104:1…Bless the
Lord, O my soul! Let somebody praise the name of the Lord…. Let somebody praise
the name of Jehovah…..

Praise Him because you are alive; praise him because of what He is going
to do; praise Him because He is going to surprise you; praise Him because this
is your year. Your year of victory, praise Him because you are alive today,
many are gone; many are perished, many are destroyed; but you are alive;
somebody praise the Lord….. Praise Him because He is faithful. When the
children of Israel were by the Jericho, God said “what I need from you is that,
when the trumpet sound, let everyone shout”; and people shouted, and the wall
of Jericho fell down flat. If you can praise the Lord, the wall of Jericho in
your life will fall down. Praise can move mountains; praise can change
situations; when you praise the Lord, it changes life for you. Whoever is
praising the Lord, will have the peace of God; whoever is praising the Lord
will have the joy of the Lord. In His presence is the fullness of joy; let
somebody praise the Lord……. You need to praise Him, do not complain against God anymore; just praise
Him. Habakkuk 2:2-3…Write the vision, make it plain that he may run who reads
it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, and it shall speak itself and
it shall not tarry; even if it tarries wait for it for it shall surely come to
pass…… The prophecy concerning your life, your vision, your dreams, shall come
to pass in the name of Jesus…..God will lift you to the next level; He will do
just as He has spoken in the name of Jesus….. We need to remember our creator;
He is so good to us. Psalm 73:1….Truly God is good to Israel and to such as are
pure in heart.

2.
Think
about your destination: Everybody has to think about their destination; the reason
why the children of Israel were not able to do anything is because they had no
destination. Where is your destination? If you were to die tonight, where will
you spend your eternity? Hebrews 13:14….Here we have no continuing city, we
seek the one to come. Philippians 3:20….Our citizenship is in heaven…..So we
are returning back to heaven. That is the reason God slaughtered Jesus Christ
for us, so that we can make heaven. Isaiah 53:10….Yet it pleased the Lord to
bruise Him…. John 3:16…..For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have
everlasting life. John 3:3….Except a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom
of God. Verse 5-6…..Except a man is born with water and spirit he cannot enter
the kingdom of God. That which is of the spirit is of the spirit; that which is
of the flesh is of the flesh. And as we share the flesh of Adam, we must share
the spirit of Jesus Christ. Jesus made everybody to understand that He is from heaven; the Jews were
so disturbed. John 6:41…..The Jews complained about Him when He said, “I am the
bread which came down from heaven.” Truly, He is the bread that came from
heaven. John 6:48….I am the bread of life. Jesus is the bread of life; He came
from heaven. John 14:1-3.… Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God,
believe in me also. In my father’s house are many mansions if it were not so I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you…. So Jesus Christ has a
destination; He said “I came from heaven and I am returning to heaven.” We all
came from heaven and we are returning back to heaven. The question is that it
is either heaven or hell; where will you end up. We always think business and
other things; are you thinking about your destination?

We need to think about our destination, and whatever will make us to
stumble. Hebrews 10:31…It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the
living God. Hebrews 9:27….It is appointed for men to die once, but after this
the judgment. You may deny Christ as your Lord today, but you cannot deny him
as the judge. He is the judge for the quick and the death; on the day of judgment,
what are you going to face? We have to understand that one day; the world will
come to an end, where will you spend my eternity. If somebody will cause you to
stumble, why can’t you make peace? We all know that God is not an author of
confusion. How can I be in the church with you and still be angry with you; and
say “I am serving God.” God said “truly this people they are near to me with
their mouth, but they are far from me with their hearts.” Proverbs 27:19….As in
water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man. A man’s heart tells
who he is. Some people’s heart is so dark and they are so dangerous, because
they will smile to you, in order to laugh at you. I am speaking to us divine
thought; after I have thought about my creator, I need to think about my
destination. If I die today where am I going? When the Lazarus died the bible
said “he was carried to the bosom of Abraham; but when the rich man died he was
buried.” I do not want to be like that; I want to be carried by the angels of
the Lord. Think about how wonderful it will be in heaven to see Moses the
prophet of the mighty God; to see Jacob, to see father Abraham, the friend of
God; to see father Isaac the covenant child; to see Joshua the warrior, who
brought the people to the promised land; how wonderful it will be to see Elijah
the man of fire; how glorious it will be to see Elisha the prophet of the
almighty, the man of tomorrow about this time, the one that speaks and it comes
to pass; how wonderful it will be to see Peter, John, Paul, Silas, Andrew; how
wonderful it will be to see Isaiah, to see Jeremiah  to see Ezekiel, to see Daniel; how glorious it
will be to see Noah who saved his household. How glorious and wonderful it will
be to see Jesus and to see God. You have to make up your mind, we are going to
heaven; anyone that will not make you go to heaven, you should get away from
them because you have a destination; some people do not have a destination.

3.
Think
about your destiny: Your purpose on earth, how are you going to fulfill it
Hebrews 11:40…. God having provided something better for us, that they should
not be made perfect apart from us. Something better is what God wants to do for
us. Hebrews 10:9….He takes away the first in order to establish the second. God
has something great for you. There was a man named Jabez, he thought about his
life, about his destiny. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10….. Now Jabez was more honorable
than his brothers and his mother called his name Jabez saying, “because I bore
him in pain.” Jabez prayed unto the Lord; and the Lord changed his life, he
turned his life around. Think about your destiny. This is the time everybody
has to develop a winners attitude; you have to be desperate this year 2013, you
must fulfill your purpose; you must fulfill you destiny; you must make it and
you shall fulfill your purpose in the name of Jesus…… You have to decide that you are going somewhere Proverbs 23:7….For as he
thinks in his heart, so is he…. Whatever you think in your heart is what is
going to happen. Whatever God says He will do in your life, He will do it. Think
about your destiny; think good things for yourself. I know the thoughts that I think
towards you; today change your thinking. Change the way you reason and the Lord
almighty will be with you in the name of Jesus…….
